Summary
Issue 49 of Vasconia brings together three studies of social and cultural history. The first analyses the life and work of a public notary in 17th-century Gipuzkoa. The second examines the public scandals involving women in Abando at the end of the 18th century. The third studies the repression suffered by women imprisoned in the provincial prison of Vitoria-Gasteiz during the Civil War. The volume is rounded off with a section of book reviews.
The publication is carried out through the Open Journal (OJS) platform and all published articles have passed peer review.
This publication has been made possible thanks to the generous support of the consolidated research group of the UPV/EHU, Biography & Parliament and the Ministry of Science and Innovation Research Project PID2020-114496RB-I00.
