Summary

Demand management measures are necessary to accompany promotion of the offer of public transport between villages with a considerable population, and we thus propose the transfer of funds away from road transport as this is the most polluting and problematic transport mode. Besides, towns of importance in terms of education and industry should be pioneers in future transport projects, and thus an adequate institutional organisation is a requisite to ensure the coherence of such measures and the follow up thereof.
