I have the honour and the pleasure to start working as the director of Naturzale, Natural Sciences Notebooks, with this new issue that is now published, in which current matters, such as the repopulation of wolves in the Basque Country, the persecution of foxes in Alava, the ectomycorrhiza communities in Artaza, the biological mineralization of organic matter, the exploitation of Atlantic forests by anurans, the transformation of the landscape in Urdaibai, the relationship between insignis pines and biodiversity and the dendrochronology of the Quercus gender, are all dealt with thanks to Section members? participation.
