Summary

The situation of Basque music inside and outside the Basque Country is studied. Although there is a variety of concerts, the Day of Vanguard Music at Rentería and the New Basque Music Sessions at Donostia-San Sebastián are emphasized. It is remarked that the musical situation is not good and to improve such a situation it is proposed to create a Basque Musicians Society and the establishment of International Sessions on current music in the Basque Country
