Summary

The new notebook of the Media Section primarily contains research works carrid out by Section members. Some of them are about the field of the Internet and the Media, others are dedicated to the field of history and, finally, others are about the area of audiovisual media. This issue no. 10 of Mediatika also refers to the organisation of Conferences, a habitual activity in our Section. Reflections on advertising in the Basque language, even if published with a certain delay, are of documentary interest. One noteworthy contribution in this issue no. 10 of Mediatika is the collection of doctoral theses that cover the period from 1996 to 2000, as has been done in previous issues. To conclude, this Media Section Notebook includes the critique of various books.
