Summary

This deals with the experience that has taken place at the University of Girona. Oral testimonies gained through interviews with exiled and purged Republican teachers as well as with those of the early decades of the Franco period make it possible to complete the knowledge about the school reality provided by the written documents, and to conduct an in-depth study of specific subjects like Catalan history, language and culture.
