Summary

Before the birth of modern journalism in the Basque Countrym, there are some journalistic products linked to the old journalism. The journals originated in Donstia-San Sebastián, Vitoria-Gasteiz y Bayonne are mentioned. The latest is the first journalistic antecedent in Basque language. Nevertheless, regarding journalism in Basque language, also in XIXth century some pre-journalistic forms like almanacs will have a great importance
