Summary

This article tries to consider the changes occured around the Basque business associations during the post-Franco transition and throughout the subsequent democratic governments. It is focused on the recent history. Emphasis is placed on the attitude of Basque business companies on industry reestructuration, the particular tax situation due to the Economical Agreement, the adhesion to the European Community, etc
