Summary

This article evaluates the relationship between the nutritional state, diet-related attitudes and behaviours, and the perception on body image in university students. There was a higher amount of cases of overweight in men than in women. However, the tendency to "go on a diet" was higher in women, which may be due to the existing social pressure to maintain a stylised image.
