Summary

Starting from an altar piece exhibited in Caracas Museum in December 1953 that shows a txistulari angel, Sandalio Tejada looks into places with sculptures with this same motif: the Monastery at la Oliva (12th century), the church of San Cernín at Pamplona (12th century), the Cathedral of Pamplona (13th century), the Cathedral at Bayonne (14th century) and the church at Lekeitio.
