Summary

Into the extensive research on republicanism of Gipuzkoa [Basque Country, Spain] during 1868-1923, we wanted to define the republican actors profiles. For that, we built a very specific biographies and we have compared those biographies to make a  prosopographic analysis. Our goal was the better understand of the republican political culture. In our opinion, the profile of the members of the group determines the profile of all the group, so this research offers a wider explanation of the republicanism before the II. Spanish Republic.
