Traditional theatre is merged with society, and because of this, depending on the social situation, certain forms of theatre (drama, comedy, etc.) are performed. The Pastorals of Iparralde (XVIII century) were very influenced by agricultural society and their evolution avoided their disappearance in the Basque Country
