Summary

Basque nationalism began a late relationship with other nationalities with similar problems in Europe and in Spain. In 1916, it participates for the first time in an informal Congress of National Minorities and makes its problems known. In 1930 it participates once more in the Congress and when Basque nationalism begins to become international, the Spanish civil war and World War II put an end to its presence in international forums
