Summary

The pyrenaic legal system is based on the balance between persons and resources. Organization of the legal system was fully attained in Navarre in the XVI century although, previously, municipal and local jurisdictions lived together within the General Jurisdiction. Navarre has historically incarnated the sovereignty of the Basque people. At present Navarre Statutory Law is an appendix of the Spanish legal system. The process of autodetermination is also studied
