Summary
This volume of Fuentes documentales medievales del País Vasco gathers in its 58 documents not only the history of a Gipuzkoan municipality but also an important part of the very history of Gipuzkoa. The transcribed documentation starts in the period before the foundation of the town, one of the last settlements to reach this category (together with Urretxu), and cover the period all the way up to the era of important change and consolidation of the municipal and urban regime as against the dominion of feudal landlords.
