Summary
The Archives of the town council of Tafalla contain eighty documents, most of which are parchments, on the government of the city (1157 -1540). The content of these documents is varied; as a rule they are sentences, like those on the use of the waters of the Cidacos river and different ordinances and privileges for Tafalla. There are also documents on the joining of the jurisdictions of the "ruanos" and of the "hijosdalgo" of Tafalla (1425) or that on the appointment of Tafalla as Buena Villa (Good Town - 1423).
