Summary
This volume compiles medieval documents conserved since 1181 in the municipal archive, organized up to 1775, amounting to 122 texts. The lions share of the documents concentrates on the late medieval phase, with a total of 115 texts. The previous phase includes the two foundations of Monte Real, Itziar (24-06-1294) and Deba (17-06-1343). The texts include, together with the royal confirmations, documents from the ecclesiastical Estate (municipal, diocesan and Roman), municipal ordinances and texts from associations (confederation of sea farers and the association of ironsmithery owners).
