Summary
The transcription of the documentation referred to Biskaia that is stored in the General Records Section of the General Archives in Simancas continues with the publication of this volume, that covers 1485 and 1486. These are simple copies of documents issued by the Royal Chancellery as from the reign of the Catholic Kings up to the 17th century, when the Court has to move definitely to Madrid. A striking peculiarity of this corpus of documents is the variety of the topics covered as well as the fact that the documents are mostly addressed to private individuals
