Summary

This article starts reviewing the difference between the terms of technology and science, in what aspects their contents are similar and in what aspects they are different. After some commentaries on the working plan and the methodology followed to carry out this study on the presence of the Basque topics in the University of the Basque Country, results are analyzed in several careers (mainly those related with sciences and pharmaceutical studies) and in various third cycles and post-graduate courses (in the fields of experimental sciences, teaching techniques and health-related sciences). Finally, some commentaries are made about the deplorable general situation
