La dieta del cerebro. Alimentación y otros factores de riesgo modificables en la génesis de los ictus y las demencias

Stroke and dementia are heterogeneous pathologies, the aetiology of which is considered to be fundamentally multifactorial. In addition to their genetic component, research is gradually gaining more and more insight into the modifiable risk factors associated with these diseases. This new knowledge offers a sound basis for implementing prevention programmes aimed at encouraging people to make changes to their diet and lifestyle. Here, we analyse some of the most widely-studied of these factors.

Alzheimer's disease. Cognitive impairment. Stroke. Environmental factors. Dietary pattern. Lifestyle. Prevention. Multimodal intervention.
