En el 50 aniversario de su fallecimiento, el historiador Pedro Berriochoa ha publicado una biografía que resitúa al escritor José de Arteche (socio de Eusko Ikaskuntza desde 1932) en su tiempo y en sus circunstancias, en sus contradicciones y también en su férrea lealtad a valores que orientaron toda su trayectoria como la paz, la honestidad y la fe religiosa.
