This article analizes the repercussions in the Spanish colonial American realm of the "Zugarramurdi´s Witches" case and subsequent auto-da-fè, which took place in Logroño in 1610: it focuses on the 1633 witches´ episode in the Caribbean towns of Tolú and Cartagena, which was under the jurisdition of the Cartagena de Indias Inquisition.
