Summary

It is well-known that at the beginning of the 20th century relations and productions between readers and "bersolaris" were abundant and fruitful. In this article, setting out from the concept of semi-orality, the tracing of ideas, images, metaphors and other resources used by some Basque writers is investigated, using as a base the verses of several "bersolaris" from the beginning of the 20th century. The aim of the study is to demonstrate that orality may be the reflection or the distant echo of the written form.
