Vicente of Amezaga reproduces a document published in the Montevideo El Nacional newspaper in 1836: it is considered a letter directed to the prefect of the department of Bas Pyrinees by Alfredo G. Bellemare, a representative of the English company Lafone & Wilson requesting labour for its agricultural exploitations in the surroundings of Montevideo.
