Summary

Incidents occurred in Hondarribi in 1791 on account of a case of smallpox. A father decided to inoculate his children against smallpox in order to avoid or minimize the infection. The town hall decided to consult doctors and specialists on the issue, if they allowed the father to carry out such inoculations since they feared smallpox could extend all over the population. The article includes letters received by the town hall on the issue
