Summary

In this chapter the authors present the factors associated with children´s diseases and hospitalisation that influence, at the same time, the adjustment process to the disease, and its impact on the personal and social life of those who suffer it. In the same way the authors reflect the need for pedagogic intervention in this field and, at the same time, outlined some of the most used psychopedagogic strategies.
