Summary

This new issue of the Music Section notebooks approaches the various areas now being studied in the field of musical research. The importance that is attributed to projects on biographies of Basque musicians is demonstrated by the publication of the articles dedicated to 18th century organist and kappelmeister Juan Francés de Iribarren, and the article on Carmelo A. Bernaola in his 75th anniversary. Another commemoration is celebrated with the work that collects a detailed list of correspondence established over the 25 years of existence between ERESBIL - Archive of Basque Composers and personalities of the world of the music in our country. We are also given the opportunity to know the project for the establishment of the traditional music documentation centre "Herri Musikaren Txokoa" in Oiartzun. Other topics include technical aspects in 20th century music, space and music or the musical industry. An article on the study of music pieces and two studies on musical education complete this notebook.
