Summary

This study is a description of the contributions of Basques in the Franquist era. An analysis is made of the variation of circunstances: from a sterile desert to the appearance of the creators who later were to be relevant during the democracy. Oteiza´s project is the object of special recognition. In order to explain this period, a study is made of Basque characters in cinema in general.
