Summary

The objective of this article is to analyse the type of linguistic contact between the languages: Basque, Castilian Spanish and French. On one hand, there is the influence of French and Spanish in the Basque language, as superstratum and adstratum languages, and on the other hand the influence of the Basque language as substratum language in current Spanish, at all linguistic levels: phonetics, morphology, syntax and lexicon.
