An updated review is made on the methods that we have in the sanitary world to help the smoker quit this habit. The conclusions that are transmitted are that giving up smoking is well worth the trouble. In spite of the fact that it is difficult, it is possible to do and that currently, if the smoker wants to quit smoking and needs help, there is a vast therapeutic arsenal to help him or her to do so.
