Summary

Diego María de Gardoqui played an important role in the history of the United States. In this article, we aim at analyzing his family context and the route he followed to reach the American northern coast. To this end, we find the source of our work in the social origins of his family to finish with the analysis of his influence and connections in the United States of America.
