Summary

Integral evaluation is the working method in geriatrics. Such evaluation includes the functional situation, pathologies-syndromes, the cognitive, emotional and conduct situation, social and environmental conditions, individual values and risks to which the patient is exposed. Without a global evaluation it is not possible to understand the needs of patients and the way they are treated.
