Summary

This issue explores the links between music and territory, revealing music as an important cultural indicator when defining a specific space. The different articles analyse some of the trends that we can examine: as much as in the redefinition of music and territory concepts and their fields of application, as in the political, economical and artistic instrumentalisation and in the broadening of perspective (from a national point of view to a larger perspective arisen from the globalisation and the use of new technologies).
