Summary

This article pretends to demonstrate -by showing certain examples- the way in which, starting from the various landscape scales, certain sculptural interventions in public spaces have conjugated the idea of monument with that of urban equipment and architecture, over the last third of the 20th century in the Basque Country and more concretely in the urban reform of Bilbao.
