Summary
It is very difficult to summarise all the work that writer and playwright Elías Amézaga (Bilbao, 1921) has been carrying out. Over sixty books, over a thousand articles, a hundred or so plays, about fifty conferences, prologues, epilogues... In the booklet published to commemorate the awarding of the 2005 Manuel Lekuona Prize to Amézaga, "the author who has written the most about Basques all over the world", the readers will find a modest biography written by his grandson, who was his personal secretary between 1992 and 2002, together with a selection of photographs and his bibliography.
