Summary

The publication titled "Revisión del Arte Vasco entre 1875-1939" (Review of Basque art 1875-1939) s the importance of the various ideologies and political commitments in the industrial process and development during important historical events. In this change of century, the differentpredominant attitudes are analised in six conferences, thirty-two motions and anextensive bibliography. Among the predominant attitudes analisedaretradicionalist, modernising, custom, impressionist, novecentist and vanguardist tendencies. This period is deemed to be essential in the configuration of Basque art in all levels.
